Top Stand Up Paddling Clinic
The Redding Aquatic Center is proud to be the first to offer Flat water Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) classes in Shasta County. SUPing is an emerging global sport with a Hawaiian heritage, which utilizes a one-bladed paddle, while standing on a normal length surfboard. Increasingly, in recent years, Stand Up Paddleboarding has moved out of the surf zone and into inland waterways around the country. Flat Water Stand Up Paddling is a healthy, low-impact and environmentally friendly paddle sport that appeals to both the young and the young-at-heart.
