TopFamily River Float
There's still time to fit one more day of fun in the sun into our summer! Sign up now for our Family Float River Rafting trip on Saturday, August 28th. We will be meeting at the Bonneyview Boat Ramp parking lot at 9:00 a.m. and will be venturing down the Sacramento River to Anderson River Park. This is a half-day trip and transportation back to the Bonneyview Boat Ramp parking lot will be provided by the rafting company. Sign up as an individual or as a family. Ages 8 and up.

TopFamily Photo Scavenger Hunt
This fun filled family adventure will help you discover and/or rediscover what Redding has to offer. Create lasting memories as you explore the outdoors with your family. Each photo hunt category will be the focus of an adventure for your family to embark upon. Go out and enjoy any or all of the activities listed (the more the better!), take a picture of at least one family member during this activity and submit all of your photos to Redding Recreation. Each category has an associated point total, and the family with the most points will be featured in our next Activity Guide. Don't forget to include your contact information and signed entry form! Top2010 Play at the Park Tour
Join us for Redding Recreation's Play at the Park Tour! Spread the word. Bring the whole family and see what there is to enjoy in our own community. The Play at the Park Tour will feature one park on the third Saturday of each month throughout the fall. Meet new friends and network with neighbors to start making your own park visits a habit. Equipment will be available to check out with a valid form of identification. Call Redding Recreation at 225-4095 for more details. Pre-registration is not required.

TopNature Photo Contest
How would you like to have your picture featured on the cover of a Redding Recreation Activity Guide? All you have to do is go out and enjoy the natural world that surrounds us every day in Redding, take a few pictures, pick your five favorites and submit them to Redding Recreation for consideration. Pictures can be emailed or submitted on a CD. Don't forget to include your contact information and your signed entry form. Pictures must be of an outdoor area. Amateur photographers only please.
